KUWAIT: The criminal court yesterday sentenced a citizen and two expatriates to 10 years in prison over charges of supporting and funding IS, as well as purchasing weapons for the organization.
Illegal fishing
The court of misdemeanors yesterday fined a citizen KD 5,000 for violating Environment Public Authority (EPA) rules and regulations by fishing in restricted areas of Kuwait’s territorial waters.
Citizenship withdrawal annulled
Lawyer Bassam Al-Assoussi announced that the administrative court annulled the withdrawal of his client’s citizenship and mandated the authorities to reinstate it to him.
