KUWAIT: Authorities are monitoring people in Kuwait suspected to be supporting or are sympathizers with Hezbollah, particularly Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi and Kuwaiti nationals also. According to security sources, suspected citizens are categorized into two categories: the first includes known supporters who have not yet shown support to the group.
Those people will remain under surveillance, the sources said. The second category includes people who express support publicly through social media or gatherings either inside or outside Kuwait. “The electronic surveillance unit at State Security Service continues monitoring potential suspects” since the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) branded Hezbollah as a terrorist group, the sources said. — Al-Rai
