KUWAIT: The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MSAL) suspended the issuance of licenses to establish nurseries until this task is shifted to the Ministry of Education (MOE) in the near future, said sources at MSAL’s women and children department.
Kuwait already has 340 licensed nurseries, the sources said, in addition to 50 more applications on the licenses’ waiting lists. “The sector will be officially subjected to MOE within 90 days when it has finished the needed formalities,” explained the sources. — Al-Jarida
