KUWAIT: Detectives solved the mystery of several vehicle theft cases recorded against unidentified persons, after their investigations led them to a 29-year-old bedoon, who used copied keys to open the cars. The suspect’s house was placed under surveillance for three weeks, then he was arrested. He led them to 36 stolen cars.
Shaman busted
Residency detectives arrested an Asian witchdoctor and charged him with practicing sorcery. Detectives learned he prepared sorcery materials to target sponsors of domestic workers, with claims that he was a spiritual healer and could treat psychological problems. He was arrested after an undercover officer was sent to him, and he was caught red-handed along with his assistants.
