KUWAIT: The Kuwaiti Interior Ministry yesterday dismissed reports that it was taking extraordinary security measures to address external or terrorist threats.
The ministry said in a statement that precautionary plans and preventive measures are part of a security plan that has been launched since the holy month of Ramadan.
The plan is subject to the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and all relevant security departments, the ministry added. —KUNA
