KUWAIT: A masked man attempted to rape a Filipina in an elevator. The suspect escaped after the Filipina screamed and fought him off. The woman was surprised after the man entered inside the elevator with an axe and threatened to kill her if she does meet his desires. Detectives went to the area and took the girl to the police station where she lodged a complaint.
Police shoot a dog
Jahra policemen had to shoot a dog dead in a Kabd farm after it attacked a guard there. The guard was taken to Jahra hospital for treatment.
Brothel raided
Three women; a Jordanian, Syrian and Lebanese are accused of using a flat as a brothel during this Ramadan. Detectives raided the apartment and arrested the suspects. Detectives learned about their activities and sent a team from the Vice Department to investigate the case. The women charge KD 20 per a round of sex and if the ‘customer’ wants home service, the fee doubles. An undercover agent was sent to make a bargain before the flat was raided.
