KUWAIT: The Interior Ministry’s Citizenship and Passports Department will stop issuance of old Kuwaiti passports from Jan 19 to 21, 2017. It said it will not accept passport renewal applications from Thursday, Jan 19, as the information technology department will carry out preliminary tests on issuing electronic passports, which requires a halt in the issuance of passports during the test period.
